EU AI Maturity Assessment & Risk Classification
A free interactive portal to assess your EU AI Act readiness and classify AI systems. Covers 9 governance domains (55 questions), a 5-phase risk classification engine, article explorer, timeline, glossary, and 17 curated resources — all in your browser.
The EU AI Act Readiness Portal is a free, browser-based compliance tool that helps organisations understand, assess, and prepare for EU AI Act obligations. It combines two structured assessment flows with a rich reference library — all running entirely client-side with no data leaving your browser. The Gap Assessment covers 9 governance domains (48 core questions + 12 financial services–specific questions) with weighted scoring, a radar chart, and a prioritised action plan exportable as PDF or Excel. The Risk Classification engine walks through 5 phases — scope and role, prohibited practices, high-risk classification, general-purpose AI, and transparency — using skip-logic and producing an auditable trail with obligation mapping and fine references. Beyond the assessments, the portal includes a 6-workstream compliance roadmap, an interactive article explorer, a searchable glossary, a regulatory timeline updated to reflect the latest Digital Omnibus developments, and 17 curated official resources.

The EU AI Act introduces layered compliance requirements that are difficult to navigate without specialist knowledge. Firms need to determine whether they are a provider or deployer, which risk tier applies to each AI system, which exemptions are available, and what obligations follow. Most organisations don't know where to start — and consulting fees make early-stage scoping expensive. This portal provides a free, structured entry point: a gap assessment to benchmark your governance maturity across 9 domains, a classification engine to determine risk tier and obligations for any AI system, and a reference library to understand the regulatory context — all in one place, all in the browser.
